EMS Outreach Hudson, with the support of the Mayor's Senior Advisory Committee, will hold Oktoberfest for seniors over age 60 at the First Congregational Church on Aurora Street in Hudson. Seniors are invited to enjoy a free evening of German food, music and fun. Mayor David Basil will be on hand, along with presentations from Police Chief Perry Tabak, Fire and EMS Chief Jerry Varnes, and Rich Piekarski, chair of the senior advisory committee.
This fun event is limited to the first 200 people, so reservations are required. Call Cindy Murphy at Hudson EMS, 330-342-1852, to reserve a place at this year’s Oktoberfest. Parking is available near the church, and off-site parking will be available at Barlow Community Center with a shuttle bus (provided by Danbury Senior Living) to shuttle people back and forth from the church. The event is free, but a $5 donation to EMS Outreach Hudson would be appreciated.
