Hudson is the first city in Summit County to adopt a Complete Streets resolution. The Complete Streets movement asks planners and engineers to build roads that are safer, more accessible, and easier for everyone, whether they are walking, biking, or driving and no matter their age. The City of Hudson is a regional leader in our pedestrian and bicycle related development standards and public infrastructure. The resolution officially recognizes the connectivity and public infrastructure efforts Hudson already pursues, such as sidewalk connections and requirements, installation of multipurpose paths, parking lot requirements, adoption of the Connectivity Plan, which lays out the plans to make Hudson walkable and ridable from one end to the other, and continued infrastructure improvements to our roadways. Hudson will continue to connect the City and make it a safe, accessible place for all types of travel.
