Help Provide a Cleaner, Healthier, and Safer Energy Supply with EcoSmart Choice


EcoSmart Choice® is a 100% Renewable Energy Product available to Hudson Public Power customers through American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP). By participating in the EcoSmart Choice program, you will help stimulate the demand for new renewable energy facilities, thus reducing your carbon footprint and providing for cleaner, healthier, and safer energy supply. An average customer participating in the program can offset 12,600 pounds of CO2 emissions each year– the equivalent of not driving your car 15,159 miles! The residential base price is $0.005 per kWh. An average customer that uses 750 kWh / month would pay an additional $3.75 each month.

Please Note:

EcoSmart Choice® pricing and participation level options will be confirmed with your local utility provider prior to commencement of this service. You will not have electricity from a specific generation facility delivered directly to your home or business. Your purchase causes renewable energy equal to your electricity purchases to be delivered to regional power.
