Electric Bills May Be Higher Due to Cold Weather

Utility bill update

Is your electric bill higher than usual? If you have Hudson Public Power, this is very likely due to increased energy usage since winter and summer months are always high usage months. Billing rates have not increased. If you have questions about your HPP bill, please call 330-342-1710 and we’d be happy to help!

We have also received reports of possible discrepancies with First Energy’s billing in Hudson for the last billing cycle. If you have questions about your First Energy bill, please contact First Energy.

Check out these winter energy saving tips from American Municipal Power for ways to reduce your energy consumption in the winter.
