Complimentary Transportation Available for Hudson Seniors

Senior Transportation

Sedan or Van Transportation - Hudson is offering complimentary transportation for Hudson Seniors age 60 or over! Funds for this program are being provided as a pilot from a limited On the Table grant to Rejoice! Lutheran Church in Hudson through the Akron Community Foundation. Need to go to medical appointments, grocery shopping, regular shopping, run errands, attend church or religious events, and more? Here's how you schedule your ride!


  • Call Jeff Adelman at 330-256-6422 to schedule your ride.
  • 24-hour notice is strongly recommended.
  • Available 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Jeff can load your wheelchair or walker.
  • You must be able to get into and out of the car independently.
  • It is requested that you return a provided, postage paid postcard with your rating of the service.
  • Please note that usage is limited to two round-trips per individual to maximize those who benefit from the grant.
  • Please note that Hudson is defined as north of Norton/Seasons Road, South of Fairway Blvd, west of Stone Road, and east of SR 8 or within a mile.
