On Wednesday, August 5 at 8:30 a.m., repair work will begin on a failing electrical vault on SR 303 near Oviatt Street. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in this area and two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers. The work is anticipated to take place for two to three days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Traffic delays are expected during those hours. The road will be reopened each day at 4:30 p.m. in an effort to lessen the impact on rush hour traffic.
Along with this work, Hudson Public Power will need to disrupt power to isolate the vault being repaired. This disruption will take place between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4 for 15 minutes. The residents who will be affected by this disruption have been notified.
Thank you for your patience during this necessary work.
