HUDSON, OH (March 18, 2020) – In accordance with the activation of Hudson’s Emergency Operations Plan, Mayor Craig Shubert and City Manager Jane Howington signed a proclamation declaring that the City of Hudson operate under a state of emergency which provides all necessary emergency authority for protection of the lives and property of Hudson residents during the coronavirus outbreak/pandemic.
The City is following the state and federal government as per the Hudson’s emergency operations procedures. The declaration also allows the City the ability to apply for federal reimbursement for certain expenditures related to the disaster if money becomes available in the future.
Over the past week, the City has closed its buildings to the public, but remains actively staffed to continue to provide services to the community and answer questions by email or phone.
