[ARCHIVED] City Council Meeting Highlights 3/3/20

Council Highlights

At the March 3 Council Meeting, after extensive discussion, Council voted to adopt and implement the proposed Land Development Code Sign Regulation Amendments. In the fall, the City put a moratorium on sign code enforcement to allow time to formulate the amendments. The amendments reflect significant efforts to simplify and relax the 20-year-old sign regulations so merchants can more easily utilize signage to advertise their businesses. These amendments are only the first step towards an updated and improved sign code. Council is committed to regularly updating Hudson’s codes to keep up with changes in the Hudson community.

Council determined that historically they do not endorse external levies as a body, but on a personal level, all council members are supportive of it.
