Update 3/9/20
Governor Mike Dewine confirmed three cases in the State of Ohio on Monday, March 9. The three positive cases are all in Cuyahoga County. Governor Dewine has declared a State of Emergency to allow state departments and agencies to better coordinate their response. At this point, there are no known cases of COVID-19 in Summit County. The City of Hudson is in regular contact with Summit County Public Health regarding ongoing information and updates about the coronavirus. We will continue to post updates, but also encourage residents to watch for Summit County Public Health and the Ohio Department of Health updates. Also check the CDC website for tips for preventing the spread of the virus.

Update 2/28/20
Recently, the federal government declared a public health emergency to help the nation’s health system respond to COVID-19, the coronavirus. The City of Hudson has been working closely with regional, state and federal agencies to ensure we are prepared, should the disease appear in our region.
To help keep yourself safe and healthy this season, follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) suggestions for preventing the coronavirus (or just a cold or the flu).
- Wash your hands often with soap and water.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cough or sneeze into a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
