Council Highlights

At last night’s Council meeting, Assistant City Manager Frank Comeriato discussed the proposed Public Works Building options with Council and their work to date. He presented the various locations for the proposed building. Council asked him to provide them with more information regarding the locations and comparison costs so they can review the proposed locations in more detail before making a final determination. Please see the agenda attachments for further information about this proposed project.

Council held a public hearing concerning the sign code changes in the Land Development Code Sections 1207 and 1213. They also had a second reading of the proposed ordinance. Councilwoman Kate Schlademan read several letters from business owners regarding the changes. One merchant spoke to Council and had a few questions regarding the changes. The third and final reading will be at the next Council meeting on March 3 and Council will vote on the proposed changes.

Another public hearing was held concerning an application for placement of land in a current Agricultural Use District for Brown Farms One, LLC, and Brown Farms Two, LLC, and Sheryl J. Brown, Trustee, 34 Wellgate Drive, Hudson. There were no public comments.

  • Authorization to enter into a contract with an accounting firm to assist staff in the preparation of the 2019 annual financial statements. Info...
  • Authorization for payment of invoices for which commitments were made before Purchase Orders were generated. Info...
