Charter Review Commission Process
The Charter Review Commission is established every five years to review the Hudson City Charter, seek input from the public, and provide a report to City Council on possible changes to the Hudson Charter.
The Commission selects its own Chairperson and Secretary and adopts its own rules for the conduct of business. Any revisions and amendments recommended by the Commission must be submitted to Council not less than 120 days prior to the next general election. Council will submit those recommended revisions and amendments to the voters at the next general election.
Commission meetings are open to the public and will be videotaped and made available on the City of Hudson’s website at www.hudson.oh.us.
