UPDATE 5/24/18: Due to weather, the contractor did not begin work this week. The staircase will remain open during the long holiday weekend. Work will begin on Thursday, May 31.
Beginning on Tuesday, the City of Hudson will have a contractor performing maintenance on the parking terrace. The maintenance requires the staircase along the eastern side of the terrace to be closed. The closure will last four to five days depending on the weather. The staircase is located directly adjacent to Vertical Runner (112 N. Main Street) and Jewelry Art (116 N. Main Street) as highlighted in the below aerial photo. There is the potential for two to three parking spots to be closed at times as contractors work to make masonry repairs. A majority of the work will be completed between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. Parking terrace users can still move throughout the deck and adjacent businesses using the staircase located in the northeast corner near Clinton Street. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Public Works Department at (330) 342-1750.
