On May 23, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will hold a public information session on the SR 8 major rehabilitation project. The session will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the SYB party center, 4157 Hudson Drive, Stow, Ohio.
The ODOT project, beginning this year, involves replacing the pavement on SR 8 between Graham Rd. to just north of SR 303 and includes bridge re-decking and bridge repairs. Motorists should anticipate various ramp closures at SR 303, Steels Corners Rd., Seasons Rd., Hudson Dr., and Graham Rd., ranging from two to 90 days.
ODOT plans to begin shoulder replacement, pavement repairs and work on the traffic signal at Seasons Rd. this September. It does not anticipate lane restrictions during the winter of 2018/2019. Traffic will be reduced to two lanes in each direction, beginning in the spring of 2019.
