The City of Hudson has been notified that Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) will be moving Hudson Community Television (HCTV) channels on or about October 31, 2017.
Also, as part of Spectrum’s move to all digital, Spectrum customers will be required to have a digital cable box to receive all TV channels. Plugging the cable line directly into a TV will no longer be an option. According to Spectrum, the box is provided at no charge to customers.
During this transition, Spectrum is moving Hudson HCTV channels to a new location.
- Channel 15 (Community Programming) will move to 1021.
- Channel 16 (Government Programming) will move to 1022.
- Channel 17 (Community Information) will move to 1023.
