The Ninth Annual Memorial Fire Engine Muster will be held on the Hudson Gazebo Green on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This free event has previously been held in Barlow Park, but this year it will move to the Gazebo Green. There will be a variety of demonstrations and activities, including tours of the Fire Museum, pumping demonstrations by the old 1859 hand pumper from Hudson, as well as a variety of other antique apparatuses. The Hudson Fire Prevention Bureau will also have the Fire Safety Trailer on site for children and parents to learn fire safety techniques. This is a great opportunity for families to see historic fire equipment dating back to 1859.
In addition, a Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Service will be held at 11:45 a.m. on the Gazebo Green. Join us in honoring those who have fallen while saving lives.
This event is sponsored by Hudson Fire Museum and Historical Education Society in cooperation with the Western Reserve Fire Museum and Education Center.
