Mayor David A. Basil proclaimed the month of August as Kids Month in Hudson, recognizing the importance of health and education for our children. As part of Kids Month, First Things First put together themes for each week with accompanying activities for children and parents to enjoy, including Story Time as Summit County Historical Society, Health Fairs, concerts, and more. During Family Week, the eighth Summit for Kids family expo will be held at the John S. Knight Center on Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. By bringing your child, you'll be giving him or her an entertaining and educational experience and helping to promote healthy development. Plans for the day include fun activities, free back-to-school items and other giveaways, special guests and much more, all made possible by generous local organizations. Don’t miss this great opportunity for family time! Find more information about the Expo here.
