Did you know rain barrels not only conserve water, but also help filter out pollutants and prevent erosion and flooding? The use of a rain barrel can also generate savings on water and sewer bills and may result in credits toward storm water fees. Learn how to make your own rain barrel on Saturday, May 6 at noon at Barlow Community Center, and take it home to start conserving water!
The cost is $40 and includes a rain barrel with an overflow connection. To register fill out the form here (located at the bottom of the flyer), and return the form and payment to the Public Works Department no later than Thursday, May 4, 2017. Spots are limited, so register now. Questions? Contact Sonya Mottram at 330-342-1750 or via email.
