More than 100 residents and business owners attended the February 23 Downtown Phase II Open House at Barlow Community Center. The event kicked off implementation of the Downtown Phase II expansion project that will feature new office space and varied residential housing to complement the retail portion of the downtown.
The open house included a brief presentation from the selected developer Testa Companies and MKSK, the design firm. Interactive stations were set up for residents to share their thoughts and help guide the future of the development. The discussions will help the Development Team understand the community’s concerns and priorities, as it works with the City to create a development plan which will be presented in a second public open house on April 5.
