Hudson, Ohio, September 19, 2016 – Hudson city officials would like to announce they have chosen Constellation Energy Gas Choice, Inc. (“Constellation”) to provide residents and small businesses with low-cost natural gas supply following a competitive bidding process under the state’s natural gas choice, governmental aggregation program. A $3.40 per Mcf rate has been set for gas consumed for the November 2016 through October 2017 bill cycles.
Residents who are currently members of the Hudson gas endorsement program with Constellation Energy need not do anything. They will receive the new rate beginning with their November billing cycle. There is no senior discount as part of the program, and there is no early termination fee.
Those wishing to join the City’s program supplied by Constellation should expect to receive a notice in the mail from Constellation on or around September 21, 2016. The notice will explain the rate, terms and conditions, and various methods of enrolling in the City’s natural gas program. Constellation recommends that residents look for this letter and follow its simple instructions to enroll by phone, mail, or fax.
“Constellation is proud to offer residents and small businesses in the City of Hudson price certainty and the same effortless experience we offer all customers,” said Ron Cardwell, vice president, government aggregation for Constellation. “As a national energy leader with deep roots in serving Ohio’s residential, commercial/industrial and governmental customers, we look forward to providing natural gas supply and a range of competitive products to the City of Hudson residential and small business customers.”
