If you love fire trucks, don’t miss the opportunity to view several trucks dating from the 1900s through 2015. The Hudson Fire Department is hosting the annual Western Reserve Fire Buff’s Fire Truck Muster and Parade on Sunday, September 11.
The public portion of the event starts at Barlow Farm Park at 12:30 p.m. with the parade. The parade will proceed through downtown Hudson and make a stop at the new Fire Museum where the public can look around from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Good viewing spots for the parade are on SR 91 from Barlow Road to SR 303.
After visiting the fire museum, the trucks will head back to Barlow Farm Park to be displayed until 3 p.m. A few trucks will utilize the Barlow Farm pond to try out their water pumps. Plan to stop by the fascinating display of history this weekend.
