There are only four more chances to drop off your household hazardous waste at ReWorks’ Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center this year. The center is open every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. through September 29.
Household hazardous waste is the discarded, unused, or leftover portion of household products containing toxic chemicals. Recycling of these products conserves resources and energy that would be expended in the production of more products. Proper disposal prevents pollution that could endanger human health and the environment.
A full list of accepted items is listed on the Household Hazardous Waste website at the link below. This center is for Summit County residents only and is located at 121 Graham Road, Stow, Ohio 44224 at the Rt. 8 Overpass.
