Emergency Medical Services


Staffed predominately by community volunteers and supported by a staff of full and part-time career personnel, EMS provides full, advanced life support transport ambulance service to the City of Hudson. Covering 25 square miles and a population of 23,000 people, EMS responds to approximately 2,100 emergency 9-1-1 calls per year.

Volunteer EMS Opportunities

Hudson EMS is a predominately nonpaid volunteer community service. We are regularly accepting applications for those interested in becoming involved. www.hudsonems.jobs

EMS also provides the following services:
  • American Heart Association cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses
  • Assistance with installing Knox-Box emergency rapid-entry key vaults
  • Community presentations and programming on health and safety
  • Medical standby services at community-wide events
