Take the 21 Day Pledge to Better Environmental Habits
Research shows you can start a habit if you do something for 21 days straight. Hudson's Environmental Awareness Committee is challenging YOU to change a habit to benefit the environment. If you don't want to do it alone, get the whole family involved!
Not sure where to start? Choose one of these easy ideas:
Turn off your car when waiting in line to pick up the kids from school
Take a reusable cup to your coffee shop instead of getting a disposable cup everyday
Turn off the water when brushing teeth or shaving
Unplug phone and computer chargers when not in use (they still use electricity when they aren't charging!)
Turn off lights/electronics when you leave the room
Keep track of your progress by filling out this tracking form each day. Here's another idea: to be greener, skip printing out the form and add a reminder to your phone's calendar for 21 days to track your progress!
