What Will It Cost? Who's Paying for It?

Most of the project costs will be paid for by the developer (approximately $80 million). The City's costs (approximately $15 million) would be recouped through Tax Increment Financing (TIF), which means that the costs will be covered by the new income taxes generated by the new jobs that the project will create. The revenue generated by the project is projected to cover the City’s cost with a estimated annual increase of $283,102 to the City’s General Fund.
