Proposed Downtown Trail and Greenway Concept Plan
The City held a Public Open House for the Hudson Downtown Trail and Greenway Concept Plan on Monday, August 21 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Barlow Community Center. The trail is also known as Hudson Downtown Trail & Greenway (Veterans Trail Phase 5) Concept Plan.
The proposed trail is part of the City-wide Connectivity Plan and will connect Downtown Hudson to the regional trail network. It is envisioned to be an outdoor recreational gem that would include benches, play spaces and other park-like amenities along the trail path. Linking First & Main retail area to the adjacent Downtown Phase II development, the Downtown Trail and Greenway will become a vibrant part of the overall downtown area.
The Open House provided information about the project and encourage citizen engagement and input about the proposed greenway. See below, under Open House Documents, the proposed Trail Options 1-4 for your viewing. Also attached below is a Public Comment Form we encourage you to fill out and email your comments to Kris McMaster by August 28, 2017.
