Free Car Seat Inspections August 11

Car Seat

The Hudson Fire Department, Akron Children's Hospital, Safe Kids Summit County, and the Twinsburg Police Department are hosting a free car seat inspection event on Saturday, August 11 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Hudson Montessori School, 7545 Darrow Road. According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, approximately 59% of car seats are installed incorrectly.  Car seats must be installed correctly to be effective, so it is important to learn how your specific car seat works. Nationally certified technicians will teach you how to properly install your car seat and will be on hand to answer questions.

If you need to set up a specific time for your car seat inspection August 11, call (330) 543-8942 to schedule an appointment. Otherwise, feel free to stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information, please call (330) 543-8942.

If you can't make it to the event, the following locations offer car seat check ups by appointment all year long:

  • Hudson Fire Department: (330) 342-1860
  • Akron Children's Hospital: (330) 543-8942
  • Twinsburg Police Department: (330) 425-1234

Watch the video below for more information about the Car Seat Check Up Event.
