The Environmental Awareness Committee, along with Keep America Beautiful, is proud to once again partner with the Taste of Hudson to continue working towards the goal of zero waste at the festival. All chefs, vendors, and Taste of Hudson attendees are encouraged to assist in these efforts while enjoying the Taste of Hudson.
Plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles, clean paper, and cardboard can be placed in the designated containers provided throughout the festival grounds. There will be two volunteer-staffed sorting stations located next to the Community Dining Tents on the east and west ends of the Culinary Green. Keep Ohio Beautiful and the Ohio EPA generously contributed the recycling cans and materials.
The recyclables will be collected by AA Sanitation and transported to a material recovery facility in Akron, Ohio for recycling. Special thanks to the volunteers from the Environmental Awareness Committee and Keep Hudson Beautiful for their assistance in keeping Taste of Hudson and Hudson GREEN!
