Visit the EAC at the Farmers Market

Doggie Do

The Environmental Awareness Committee (EAC) will be at this Saturday’s (8/12) Farmers Market Community Day on the Clock Tower Green between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Stop by to say hi and pick up your own PUP doggie doo bag and lawn sign to encourage people to Pick Up Poop (PUP). PUP is a great way to help keep our storm water system healthy.

The EAC will also have information about Keep Hudson Beautiful, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, and the popular rain barrel raffle. At the September 23 Farmers Market, the decorated rain barrel will be raffled off and rain barrel workshops will be held on the Green. Sign up for a rain barrel workshop at the EAC booth this weekend.

For more information about the EAC and Environmental Initiatives in Hudson, visit the webpage.
