The Engineering Department coordinates and provides professional engineering support for planning, capital maintenance programs and capital improvement projects. Assistance in planning, design and construction of capital maintenance, special capital and underground utility projects are also provided.  Additionally, the Engineering Department provides daily customer service to citizens in need of guidance, answers, and ultimately results to their engineering problems and needs.

New Electronic Bidding

In an effort to make the solicitation process more efficient and cost effective for both vendors and the agency, the City of Hudson has adopted an electronic bidding process for all capital improvement project solicitations. Electronic bids must be submitted at the bidexpress.com website as the only method of bid submission.  The City of Hudson is currently using this process for the 2017 Capital Improvement projects. Please click here to learn more regarding electronic bidding.

N. Main Street Downtown Corridor Improvement Project
