Barlow Road Intersection, Railroad & Future Improvements
Barlow Road and Terex Road Intersection
- Where: Barlow Road and Terex Road (West) Intersection
- When: March 20, 2017
- Length: Approximately 4-5 months
This project is complete and the signal will be fully functional August 2.
The City of Hudson has entered into a contract with Signal Service Company (Bid Results) to construct a signal at the Barlow Road and Terex Road (West) intersection.
Signal Service Company started construction on March 20, 2017. The contractor is performing underground work for 2-3 weeks and then there will be a 3-4 month period of no work while the signal pole and arm are manufactured. Once equipment is available it will take another 2-3 weeks to finish the project.
The traffic signal will include installation of the necessary underground infrastructure and the foundation for the signal pole. There is a single signal pole and arm for this location. Generally the work will occur off road and will not generally affect traffic. If needed, traffic will be maintained with flaggers during the daytime construction operations. During the signal construction, access to your driveway may be limited for a short duration, as needed to complete the work. If this occurs, the contractor will notify adjacent property owners in advance.
