UPDATE:

Resurfacing work started on Barlow Road between Terex Road and SR 91.  This work, along with traffic loop installations, is expected to be complete the week of September 19th.

Where on Barlow Road?

  • Barlow Road, One-Way West Bound Traffic ONLY (SR 91 to Terex Road intersection).
  • Detour signs are posted.
  • Traffic will be maintained with flaggers during the day as needed.

When & how long?

  • Tuesday, July 26th construction barrels & detour signage was placed.
  • Construction began, Wednesday, July 27th.
  • Approximately 75 days, weather permitting.

What is being done?

  • Resurfacing Barlow Road.
  • Bike Lanes on both sides.
  • Widening road 18 inches on both sides.
  • Relocation of mailboxes coordinated with the Post Office.
  • Storm crossing improvements.

The City of Hudson has entered into a contract with Ronyak Paving Company to resurface Barlow Road from SR 91 to the Terex Road (West) intersection, excluding a 1,000 ft. section of roadway adjacent to the existing railroad crossing. The roadway is also being widened for bike lanes.
