In preparation for the Downtown Phase II Development Project, the City of Hudson's salt storage and Hudson School's Bus Garage Facility is being relocated. The development of the new facilities is moving forward quickly. The project consists of constructing a new school bus garage and road salt storage structure on the City owned parcel located at 5810 Hudson Drive, commonly referred to as the "Koberna property". The majority of the construction for this project is expected to be completed in 2017 and 2018.

September 26, 2016: The Planning Commission discussed Case 2016-23 on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss, a request from the City of Hudson for approval of a site plan for a salt storage structure and a school bus garage to be located on Hudson Drive. Planning Commission approved the conditional use of government facilities and the site plan for the new bus garage and salt storage facility.
September 12, 2016: Case 2016-23 was scheduled to be discussed at the September 12 Planning Commission meeting. The meeting was canceled and rescheduled for September 26.
August 16, 2016: The City selected the Environmental Design Group for the final design of the new salt storage facility and bus garage. Once the design is finished, we anticipate construction to be completed late next year.
June 21, 2016: The City of Hudson held a public information meeting for the adjacent property owners and interested residents on June 21, 2016. At that meeting, project staff provided a preliminary project time line, preliminary plans and exhibits. The majority of construction work will be completed in 2017 and 2018.
