Weddings and Wedding Photography

Couples seeking to hold their wedding or wedding photography taken on City property, such as the downtown Gazebo green, must complete a Wedding/Photography Application and submit it to the City for approval. For weddings in the Hudson Parks, please contact the Hudson Parks Department at (330) 653-5201.

Due to the number of special events in Hudson throughout the year, the availability for weddings is limited. The City will maintain a calendar of weddings and wedding photo sessions scheduled on the greens, and will not schedule more than one at a time. However, because the greens are public spaces, the City cannot guarantee that other wedding parties that did not contact the City will not be present.

Wedding/Wedding Photography Regulations

  • Tables and chairs are not allowed on the greens, therefore weddings must be stand up only.
  • There is no charge for use of the greens for a wedding, but you must be "sponsored" by a Hudson resident. The Hudson sponsor must accept responsibility for any damage or cleanup required.
  • No vehicles may be driven onto the grass areas.
  • Any decorations may be tied, but not nailed or stapled, to the Gazebo or other structures and must be removed immediately following the wedding.
  • No signs of any kind are permitted.
