Hines Hill Road Grade Separation Project

Currently, Hines Hill Road has a gated, at-grade crossing at the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks, just west of Prospect Street where commuters must drive over railroad tracks.

The proposed grade separation, which includes a bridge over the railroad tracks, would provide unimpeded access to the northwest corner of Hudson for our safety forces and provide a safer crossing of the tracks.

We are nearing the end of the design phase for improvements to the crossing, which includes a bridge over the existing tracks, a new approach roadway, bike facilities, utility relocation, and new traffic control.
