Little Tikes, a multi-national manufacturer and marketer of high quality, innovative children's products was founded in 1970 and has been a part of the Hudson business community almost from the beginning. Little Tike produces 230 different , brightly colored plastic products each year, including roughly half a million of its iconic Cozy Coupe. The company currently employs more than 400 employees at its Hudson facility.
After MGA Entertainment of Van Nuys, California acquired Little Tikes in 2006, MGA considered moving Little Tikes from Hudson. In 2009, the City of Hudson, working collaboratively with the State of Ohio, Summit County and regional economic development organizations, created a package of incentives that allowed Little Tikes to commit to keep and grow its operation in Hudson.
