There are currently 20 Hudson parks. The 1,182 acres (which include the golf course’s 103 acres) offer opportunities for active and passive recreation, as well as conservation and preservation. Some of the activities and facilities available at the various Hudson parks are:

Pack the Pond 2016
Join Friends of Hudson Parks and Kent State University’s Crooked River Adventures for the fifth anniversary of Pack the Pond on Monday, August 8 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Springs Park. All are invited to this family-friendly, end-of-summer event.
Don’t miss the “Pack the Pond Challenge” in which as many watercraft as possible will be on the lake at the same time—a great photo opportunity! Guests are welcome to bring their own boats.
Crooked River Adventures will have kayaks and canoes available to try out for free, and will also provide instruction in using a stand-up paddleboard. Participants will be able to enjoy a cookout, educational programs, fly fishing demonstrations, and many other activities. The rain date is August 15.
